In 1740, renowned Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi relocated to Vienna, three years after the completion of the impressive Karlskirche, also known as St. Charles' Church. Unfortunately, Vivaldi's time in Vienna was marked by poverty, and he passed away here on July 28, 1741, finding his resting place at Karlskirche. Regrettably, his tomb, like Mozart's, did not survive

The four revolutionary violin concertos, inspired by Vivaldi's poems, transport you into a world of thunderstorms, breaking ice, bird twitterings, barking dogs, and more.
