What to expect
Depart for a drive past five different mountain lakes to the idyllic Bernese Oberland. After a photo stop in Interlaken, continue to the mountain resort of Grindelwald. From the village centre, take the aerial cableway up to Mt First, where many different summit attractions await you! Venture on the First Cliff Walk presented by Tissot and enjoy stunning views of the cliff face from the 40-metre long single-rope suspension bridge at dizzying heights. Take a seat inside the cosy mountain restaurant or on its spacious terrace and treat yourself to a delicious Swiss meal (at own expense). Discover the favourite pastime of the Swiss and hike to picturesque Lake Bachalpsee (6 km / 1.5 – 2 hours return with a moderate incline). Then rest on its shore and admire the reflection of the surrounding mountains in the crystal-clear mountain lake. On the way back and enjoy the awe-inspiring views of the surrounding mountain peaks and the Grindelwald Glacier along the way. Back at the cable car station, an exciting range of optional adventure activities awaits you.
