• Okayama castle was built by Ukita Hideie, a feudal lord that helped Tokoyomi Hideyoshi unify Japan
• It was rebuilt in 1966 and later chosen as the top 100 castles in Japan
• The gilded roof tiles used throughout the building, it is also called "golden crow castle"
