Jaisalmer is a city in Rajasthan located west of Jaipur. It is often called "The Golden City" due to its sandstone architecture, one of which is the famous Jaisalmer Fort.
To the uninitiated, the Jaisalmer Fort features a royal palace and several temples – all of which are intricately sculpted in sandstone.
