This multi-sensory experience offers a unique opportunity to delve into the heart of the timeless masterpieces of Van Gogh and Monet, as well as enchanting compositions of Mozart and Beethoven, uncovering their stories and inspiring a deeper appreciation for classical art and music.

What is Van Gogh Alive?
Unlike an ordinary art exhibition, the Van Gogh Alive experience has made its name for being one of the world's most visited multi-sensory art exhibits, having toured over 80 cities across the world and dazzling millions of visitors with its immersive experience.
This year, the exhibition finally makes its way to Malaysia, continuing its worldwide tour in Kuala Lumpur. The tour ends mid March, so don't miss your chance to surround yourself with Van Gogh's famed flowers, starry skies and portraits in this larger-than-life multimedia exhibition.
What to expect at Van Gogh Alive in Malaysia
The entire Van Gogh Alive experience here in Malaysia is actually split into two parts - the first being the main Van Gogh Alive exhibit, while the second is a digital exhibition next door called 'The Great Artist'.
Van Gogh Alive exhibit
This fully immersive exhibit brings you into the life of Vincent Van Gogh and showcases his brilliant paintings, including his world-famous masterpieces, as well as his lesser-known artworks. The main highlight here would definitely be the digital art show which tells the journey of Van Gogh's life and work from beginning to end, displayed through music and floor-to-ceiling projections of Van Gogh's beloved art and quotes.
The entire experience includes:
- A sunflower-filled room, paying homage to the Sunflowers painting
- A life-sized replica of The Bedroom painting with furniture and props
- A drawing area with easels equipped with paper and pencil for visitors to follow a step-by-step guide on drawing The Bedroom
- In-depth descriptions of Van Gogh's famous artworks
- A decorated walkway with The Starry Night-inspired ceilings and floors
- 40-minute multi-sensory digital art show - we recommend finding a comfortable spot on the floor to sit and enjoy the entire experience!

The Greatest Artist
With an admission ticket to Van Gogh Alive, you will be granted a complimentary same-day entry into this interactive digital exhibition located right next door. This part of the exhibition is more interactive, with more implementation of technology such as AI and sensory tech.
The entire experience includes:
- A talking portrait of Vincent Van Gogh
- Infinity Starry Walkway inspired by James Abbott McNeill Whistler’s Nocturne in Black and Gold
- The Light of Hope room where animated sunflowers light up only when visitors hold up a lantern against the wall
- Customisable 'art on fashion' light displays on mannequins
- An AI self portrait generator - your portrait will be painted digitally and you can even pay to get a physical copy printed out!
- Shower Of Joy colourful flower projections on hanging umbrellas inspired by the artwork of Reiji Hiramatsu’s Nihonga paintings

You can purchase single admission tickets to the exhibition or choose a Standard Admission bundle which comes with 6 Van Gogh postcards. These are the prices:
