Langkawi

A day before the trip, someone sent a complete instructions on where and whom to meet via WhatsApp. We had the entire boat to ourself since we booked a private boat, could easily fit up to 10pax. Our boatman, Huzair was knowledgeable and skillful. We started from the Tanjung Rhu jetty, passing through the mangrove with the majestic million years karst rock formation at the back. Passed through the King Kong rock, eagle feeding, swimming monkeys ( don't feed them), the grand canyon of Langkawi, crocodile cave, bat cave, and the compulsory Kilim geoforest sign and the bumpy open sea ride. ended the trip at a floating restaurant with the already included meal of fried rice with chicken, clear soup, orange and drink. we ordered additional deep fried shrimp and squids which were delicious.

This is one of the best activities to do in Langkawi. The boat will take you to Pulau Dayang Bunting and Pulau Beras Basah and along the way make a quick stop to nearby island for eagle feeding. My suggestion is that maybe this package to include fees to enter Dayang Bunting and water activities in Dayang Bunting such as kayaking and boat peddling so that we don't need to bring much money during the trip.

Hustle free because booking online. Actually a van was provided for pickup but we had our own van and didn't want to bother changing vans, so the driver showed us the way to the jetty. There are three points, near Tasik Dayang Bunting there are too many monkeys that are a bit aggressive. Don't bring food if you can. Later the monkey will try to seize it. To get to the lake, you have to hike in 10-15 minutes and it is quite high. Not suitable for parents. But there is a place to wait below. Please bring more money because you want to do activities near the lake such as boat paddle, kayak and swimming, you have to pay RM10 for all activities. Near Pantai Beras Basah, you can do parasailing activities, sofa bed and banana boat. RM25/ head. Near the wet beach jetty you can see beautiful fish but it is not suitable for snorkeling. Near the eagle checkpoint, you can see many eagles up close. Totally worth it.
