Booking guidelines

  • The name, country of residence, and passport numbers entered when booking must be an exact match to the passports used when boarding
  • Separate each activation code with an underscore (_) when activating your pass

Pass eligibility

  • If more than 2 children are traveling with 1 adult, a separate Youth Pass must be purchased for each additional child
  • Up to 2 children aged 0-11 travel free of charge for every adult with an Adult Pass (not applicable for the Senior Pass)
  • Make sure to order your free child pass(es) when purchasing your adult pass(es)
  • Promotion packages are only available for Adult tickets
  • Only non-European residents can use a Eurail Pass; UK residents are ineligible
  • To be considered as a resident of a country, you have to stay in the country for more than 6 months and must provide a proof of residence or citizenship while on the train
  • Proof of citizenship: a passport. Proof of residence: government-issued documents (visa, residence card)

  • Overnight trains save travel days; you only use one travel day unless changing trains after midnight. Example: A train departing at 19:10 on 14 October and arriving at 02:30 on 15 October requires only the 14 October entry in your travel calendar
