What to expect

  1. Basic Information Yangshuo Ruyifeng Cableway Scenic Area is a high-altitude sightseeing and leisure tourism project jointly invested by Shaanxi Junjing Cableway Investment and Construction Co., Ltd. and Guilin Ruisheng Tourism Development Co., Ltd. under Shaanxi Tourism Group. The total investment of the project is RMB 260 million. The scenic area is located in Meng Village, Gaotian Town, Yangshuo County, close to National Highway 321, 5km away from the Gaotian entrance and exit of Baomao (Guiwu) Expressway, and about 5km away from Yangshuo Yulong River, Moon Mountain, Shilihualang and other core scenic spots and Lipu Yinziyan Scenic Area. II. Project Construction Status The project construction creates Yangshuo Mountaintop Nature Park, which consists of the natural karst natural landscape “three peaks and two valleys” (Yuanbao Peak, Ruyi Peak, Necklace Peak, Caixi Valley, and Baihua Valley) and creative landscapes such as cableway, Ruyi Yunding Observation Platform, Ruyi Cable Bridge, Forest Walkway, Glass Plank Road, Digital Experience Hall, etc. Visitors can overlook the unique karst peak forest landforms of Yangshuo from high altitude, walk through the forest, enjoy the scenery of Guilin, and experience the fun of walking in the forest! The Ruyi Peak Cableway is 2012 meters long. The lower station of the cableway is located in Xingtianle International Tourism Resort. The upper station goes directly to Yuanbao Peak. The vertical height difference is 242 meters. The one-way capacity can reach 2,000 people/hour and the speed is 0.5-6 meters/second (adjustable). The cableway introduces equipment from the French POMA company. The type is a single-line circular detachable cable 8-person cabin cableway. The overall operation and safety system adopts advanced passenger cableway technology and a full-process digital automation control system. The technical indicators are at the world level.
  2. Business conditions and main achievements Since its opening on January 6, 2020, the Ruyifeng Cableway Scenic Area has been operating well. During the operation period, the goal of zero safety production responsibility accidents was achieved, no major tourist complaints and malfunction parking incidents occurred, and no fire and other personal injury safety accidents occurred. In November 2020, the Ruyifeng Cableway Scenic Area was awarded the honor of “Guilin’s Top Ten Scenic Spots of the Year” by the Guilin Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism. On December 24, 2021, it was rated as the “'Contract-abiding and Credit-worthy” Publicity Enterprise of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in 2020 by the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Market Supervision and Administration Bureau. On December 28, 2021, the Ruyifeng Cableway Scenic Area was awarded the “Safety Production Standardization Enterprise” and “Service Quality 5s Enterprise” certificates by the China Cableway Association. In 2022, it was rated as “Guilin’s Top Ten Internet Celebrity Scenic Spots Check-in Places” and “Guangxi’s Top Ten Astronomical and Climate Landscape Check-in Places”, and was selected as the “World Karst Science Research and Study Route”.
