Good to know
- This product does not accept passengers boarding in Kyoto for the time being. Guests in Kyoto can go to Nara Park by themselves to gather at 8:50 or purchase other products.
- VIP passengers boarding in Osaka can choose to get off at Kyoto Station and bring their luggage on board, but please be sure to make a note when placing an order so that a suitable vehicle can be arranged, or at least inform the customer service one day before the trip, thank you.
- Bring babies and strollers, but please be sure to make a note when placing an order so that the vehicle and number of seats can be arranged in advance, because Japanese traffic laws stipulate that babies are also counted as people, in case of overloading and not being able to board the train, or at least inform the customer service one day before the trip, thank you.
- Arashiyama train is open every day during the cherry blossom season (3/15-4/8) and mid-August (8/10-8/18) and the red leaves season in November and the first week of October. It is closed every Wednesday in the off-season and closed in January and February in winter.
- In the off-season, you can usually ask the tour guide to purchase the train tickets on site. In the peak season, please purchase the round-trip tickets from Sagano to Kameoka at 2 pm and from Kameoka to Sagano at 14:30 on the official website at least one month in advance. (VIPs who want to take the train, please inform the tour guide in advance to better arrange the itinerary.)
- Arashiyama has beautiful natural scenery, special food, temple courtyards, and interesting shops. VIPs who do not take the train can also experience the beauty of Arashiyama more leisurely.
