Booking guidelines
- The name, country of residence, and passport numbers entered when booking must be an exact match to the passports used when boarding
- All passengers must have their travel documents (passports, ID cards, valid visas) ready prior to boarding
Pass eligibility
Child eligibility
- Free for children aged 0-5 as long as they will not occupy separate seats
- Children aged 0-5 with a height of 115cm+ will need to present an ID if they will not purchase a child ticket
- Children aged 6-11 with a height of 115cm+ may purchase child tickets, provided that they shall present their IDs
- Children aged 12+ will be charged the same rate as adults
- Children aged 0-11 must be accompanied by a paying adult
- A paying adult can only bring 2 children. A child ticket will be required for each additional child
Ticket only available for
- This product is only available for non-Taiwanese passport holders entering Taiwan for a short-term stay (less than 180 days) or with visa-exempt entry. This product is not available for visitors holding residencies in Taiwan for education, employment purposes, etc.
- THSR passenger(s) must possess a redemption code, passport, and a recent valid entry document to Taiwan (e.g. visa, visa exemption stamp, Exit & Entry Permit for Taiwan, etc.)
- Passengers who hold Taiwanese dual citizenship must present a non-Taiwanese passport with a recent valid entry document to Taiwan (e.g. visa, visa exemption stamp, Exit & Entry Permit for Taiwan, etc.)

Before you purchase
- You will only be able to book up to 10 tickets per booking, please seperate your bookings if you would like to purchase more 10 tickets
- Please double-check all passenger information before submitting the order. If there are any discrepancies in passenger information during on-site ticket redemption, we will be unable to provide service
After booking made and confirmed
- After completing the payment, you will receive a Redeem Code valid for 90 days from the payment date. Please check the Klook electronic voucher under "Confirmation Details > Redeem Code"
- After obtaining the Redeem Code, you must first visit the High Speed Rail ticket counter or Taiwan High Speed Rail official website to redeem the travel date. On the website, select “Manage > Enter Redeem Code and Passport Number” to begin the departure date reservation. You can reserve for up to 29 days in advance
Other information
- Applicable Seats: The pass holder will be able to travel in a reserved or non-reserved seat in standard class but not in business class. To travel in a reserved seat, the pass holder must complete reservation before boarding. There will be no extra charge. Reservations can be made at the High Speed Rail ticket counter or Taiwan High Speed Rail official website. Visit the website and select “Manage > Enter Redeem Code and Passport Number” to proceed with the seat reservation
- Validity Period: The 3-day pass allows unlimited rides for three consecutive days starting from the reserved travel date. The 2-day pass allows unlimited rides on any two days within a specified seven-day period. The 5-day pass for both High Speed Rail and Taiwan Railways allows unlimited rides on any two days within a specified five-day period for the High-Speed Rail, as well as unlimited rides on designated Taiwan Railways trains

After booking made and confirmed
- Before your first ride on a Taiwan Railways train, you must visit the Taiwan Railways train station (Songshan station, Taipei station, Taoyuan station, Taichung station, Tainan station, and Kaohsiung station) to collect your Taiwan Railways Joint Pass first. Please present your Pass, passport, and short-term entry documentand, and enter platforms through a manual ticket gate
- Online reservations for Taiwan Railways are not available. If you need a reserved seat, please make a reservation at Taiwan Railways ticket counters

- Applicable trains: 5-Day Standard Joint Pass can take Chu-Kuang Express and Fu-Hsing Semi Express; 5-Day Premium Joint Pass can take Chu-Kuang, Fu-Hsing Semi Express, Tze-Chiang Limited Express, and Taroko Express, Puyuma Express and EMU3000 series(business car excluded) are consist of reserved cars only, please reserve a seat before boarding
- Not applicable trains: Tourist trains, cruise-style trains, EMU3000 series(business car), and other trains designated by Taiwan Railways
