Whether it’s Space Mountain, Jungle Cruise, or a snap with a favorite Disney character you’ve missed, you can visit them all and relive the unforgettable experience at Disneyland, the happiest place on earth.
After almost a year of being closed due to COVID-19, the theme park in California finally reopened its doors last April 30, 2021, with a fresh set of safety protocols and exciting new rides.
If you’re planning to visit, keep reading. Klook will give you the tell-all: the latest updates, travel requirements, can’t miss spots, and everything Disney.
Here’s your complete guide to Disneyland California!

    Disneyland California Checklist!

For many of us, Disneyland holds a special place in our hearts. A visit to the theme park means countless hours of fun and adventure.
That said, COVID-19 brought with it some changes. Although Disneyland is still as magical as ever, the experience isn’t the same as before. So, what can you expect from the Disneyland California reopening?
Here are 3 requirements for your next Disneyland Resort visit:
    • Park Reservations (Theme Park Reservation AND valid admission ticket for every date of your visit)
    • Face Coverings  (indoor/ enclosed areas)
When visiting, make sure to tick all the boxes in the list! And, don’t forget your mask just like your favourite friendly neighbourhood spider!
How about vaccination papers and COVID tests?
Guests are highly encouraged to get the full dose of the vaccine and test for COVID-19 beforehand, however they’re NOT required.
As long as visitors are (1) free from any symptoms of COVID-19, and (2) have not come in contact with a person who’s confirmed or suspected to be positive of the virus, they can have the most magical time at Disneyland.

With the Disneyland California reopening, Disney introduced a new park reservation system to help control the crowd and promote physical distancing.
Guests will now need a ticket AND a reservation in order to enter the parks. Once you have your ticket, you can select from available dates for your visit. The reservation can be booked 120 days or more in advance.
For multi-day passes, a reservation for each date of the visit is a must.

    Types of Disneyland Park tickets

As of 2021, there are 3 types of entrance tickets available for Disneyland Park California: Single Day Pass, Multi Day Pass, and the Park Hopper
    Multi Day Pass
For first-time visitors who want to make the most out of their stay, the Multi Day Pass is the best option. The ticket is good for 2 to 3 days. That’s more than enough time to explore every inch of the Disneyland Park and the Disneyland Adventure Park.
    Single Day Pass
In a time crunch? No worries! Disney’s single day pass is the way to go. It’s the most basic ticket option available. By using a single day pass, guests can enjoy an entire day at the Disney Park of their choice.
Note: The use of a single day pass only permits entry into one of the two Disney parks.
    Park Hopper
Hop between Disneyland Park and Disneyland Adventure Park with a Park Hopper Pass. Because it’s a huge bummer to go home without seeing all the magic in Disney, you’re gonna want to avail the Park Hopper.
It allows single day pass holders to go back and forth between Disneyland Park and Disneyland Adventure Park from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM
